What should I expect?
College Hill is located at 1179 College Hill Road, Waco, KY. Our worship service begins at 11am with Sunday school classes offered before worship at 10am. Sunday school classes are divided up by age and focus on reading scripture and praying together. Our worship typically lasts one hour and includes singing hymns and songs, responsive readings, and a biblically rooted sermon. Communion is offered at 9:45am and also during worship on the first Sunday of each month.
What should I wear?
Wear what you’re comfortable in! Most people in our church wear jeans or khakis with a button down shirt, or a casual dress. There is no need to dress too formally. We’re happy to welcome you no matter what you’re wearing!
What is available for my kids?
We offer children’s sunday school classes at 10 am for kids of all ages. A nursery is available during worship for infants. Children up to third grade are invited to worship in children’s church with biblically rooted teaching just before the sermon during worship. Children 4th grade and up are encouraged to worship alongside the rest of the congregation, but special accomodations can be made. What should I do when I arrive?
f you come early for sunday school, ask anyone in our congregation to direct you to the right class. We have classes for senior adults, adults, young adults, youth, and children. If you’re coming for worship, enter through the front doors of the main building with the steeple. Our ushers will welcome you and hand you a bulletin with all the information you need for wosrhip. Find any pew you like and grab a seat. You will likely be greeted by several of our church members, and our pastor always loves to meet visitors. If you have an infant, speak with one of our ushers who can direct you to the nursery.
